Artistic Philosophy

The purpose of singing is not only to create beautiful sound, but to also
connect with people in a way that invigorates, disturbs, saddens or excites.
It is my passion to use the voice to communicate deeply with the audience.

This is art: to create a moment in which the one observing sees oneself,
sees one's own exuberance, one's own sadness or turmoil. These
moments of expressivity and connection are what I live for, and
what I intend to help my students achieve.
